FANS HAVE UNTIL FRIDAY TO ENTER
TICKET DRAWING FOR 2005 NCAA
FINAL FOUR IN ST. LOUIS
ST. LOUIS — May 10, 2004 — Fans hoping to purchase tickets to the 2005 NCAA Men's Final Four next April at the Edward Jones Dome have until 11:59 p.m. Friday, May 14 to enter the ticket drawing held by the NCAA. Approximately 10,000 tickets have been allocated to the general public for the drawing.
The ticket application and entry instructions are available online at www.ncaasports.com.
The NCAA conducts the drawing each year
for the Men's Final Four. Individuals may enter an application in the drawing a maximum of
10 times, provided they pay the face value of each ticket up front, plus a $4 non-refundable
service fee for each entry. Only one entry per household will be selected, but the odds of winning will increase with each additional entry. Ticket books cost $130 and $110. Each ticket book provides admittance to the two semifinal games on April 2 and the championship game on
April 4. A random computerized drawing will be held in July 2004 to determine the winners. In August, applicants will be notified whether or not their application was selected. Ticket books will be mailed in January 2005.
The NCAA Men's Final Four returns to St. Louis for the first time since 1978. The event is one of seven NCAA championships that will take place in the Gateway City this decade. The St. Louis Organizing Committee for the Men's Final Four includes the Missouri Valley Conference, St. Louis Sports Commission, St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission, and Saint Louis University.
