ST. LOUIS – March 5, 2008 – Single-session tickets for the 2008 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at Scottrade Center go on sale tomorrow, March 6, 2008 at 10 a.m. Fans have the opportunity to purchase tickets to any of the tournament's six sessions, including the finals Saturday night. Session prices range from $9 to $50 and are available by calling Ticketmaster at 314/241-1888 or 866/646-8849 (toll free). Fans can also order online at www.ticketmaster.com, or by visiting any Ticketmaster ticket center, including the Scottrade Center box office. The tournament's schedule follows :
Half-session ticket packs, featuring tickets to the evening sessions (2, 4, and 6) or weekend sessions (4, 5, and 6) are also available. Just $48, half-session packs are a great value for fans who want to attend multiple sessions but can't commit to attending the entire tournament. Along with all-session tickets, which feature access to all six sessions for as little as $60, half-session tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster and at the Scottrade Center box office. METROPASS AVAILABLE FOR WRESTLING FANS Metro, the St. Louis region's public transit provider, is offering a five-day unlimited use pass for $14.20 (plus $2.00 shipping and handling) during the 2008 Championships. The Wrestling Fan MetroPass allows fans to ride on MetroLink light rail and MetroBus service anytime Wednesday, March 19 through Sunday, March 23. It's perfect to get to and from Lambert International Airport, hotels and Scottrade Center – as well as many St. Louis area attractions and popular entertainment districts. The 2008 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships are hosted by the University of Missouri and the St. Louis Sports Commission. This marks the fourth time this decade St. Louis hosts the event. The Championships return to Scottrade Center in 2009. The St. Louis Sports Commission is the privately funded nonprofit organization that benefits St. Louis through sports. |
