            ST. LOUIS —June 14, 2007 – The kickoff time for the 2007 Missouri vs. Illinois  State Farm Arch Rivalry football game on Saturday, Sept. 1 has been set for 2:30 p.m. CDT.  The Tigers and Illini kick off their 2007 seasons at the Edward Jones Dome in      St. Louis Labor Day weekend.  The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Individual tickets for the State Farm Arch Rivalry go on sale to the public July 12 through Ticketmaster.  Group discount packages can be purchased now by calling 314-992-0647.  In addition, the Sports Commission is selling special VIP packages featuring great seats and hospitality.  For information on these packages, call 314-206-7388.

This marks the first year of the renewed football series between Mizzou and Illinois in the Gateway City.  Organizers are planning several fan activities around the game to help contribute to the bowl-like atmosphere in Downtown St. Louis during the Arch Rivalry weekend.  Details on those events will be announced in the coming weeks.
