MORE THAN 60,000 TICKETS SOLD FOR SATURDAY’S STATE FARM ARCH RIVALRY

ILLINOIS-MIZZOU GRIDIRON BATTLE

 

         ST. LOUIS – Aug.31, 2009 – We’re just five days from the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Missouri Tigers kicking off the college football season at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Edward Jones Dome.  And while more than 60,000 tickets are already sold, fans still have a chance to obtain affordable seats for the State Farm Arch Rivalry.  As of this morning, approximately 4,000 terrace sideline and corner tickets remained available.  These tickets are $35 and can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 314-241-1888 or (toll-free) 800-745-3000, and at all Ticketmaster outlets.  A $3 per ticket facility fee and Ticketmaster convenience charges will also apply.  Please note that advanced tickets are not sold at the Edward Jones Dome box office, but the box office will be open at 10 a.m. Saturday.

ARCH RIVALRY ACTIVITIES: The Arch Rivalry weekend in St. Louis kicks off Friday night with “Arch Revelry” from 5:30 p.m. to midnight on Laclede’s Landing.  One of the area’s favorite night spots, Laclede’s Landing will be the place to be for Tiger and Illini fans on the eve of the Arch Rivalry.  The “Arch Revelry” schedule follows:
