Isaac Bruce

St. Louis Rams

Isaac epitomizes greatness both on and off the field. Between the lines, the wide receiver is a future NFL Hall of Famer, gaining more than 12,000 receiving yards and scoring 77 touchdowns during his 12 seasons with the St. Louis Rams. Off the field, Isaac is one of the classiest and most giving athletes in St. Louis. Isaac truly makes a difference in peoples’ lives through his work with local schools and by donating his time to charitable causes. Isaac adopted Bruce Elementary in St. Louis, making frequent visits to the school and celebrating his birthday with students each year. In 1997, Isaac was named the Rams’ True Value Man of the Year, recognizing his sportsmanship and community involvement. The following year, he was awarded the Rams’ Sprint Good Sports/Man of the Year. He recently started the Isaac Bruce Foundation, a fund of the Institute for Science and Health. The foundation focuses on health and education. By applying leading-edge research, the Youth Health and Development project is designed to positively impact developing youth during their critical, impressionable years through an integrated multi-media curriculum that encompasses in-school, after-school, and family opportunities. The goal is to nurture and reinforce personal attributes so that they may grow into healthy, productive and responsible adults.
